As we all cope with the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to share a story about this young girl doing her part to better the world.[nbsp_tc] Her name is Thalia, she turned 12 on March 12.[nbsp_tc] When asked what she wanted to do for her birthday, she requested to have her friends bring money or non-perishable food items for the local foodbank; instead of gifts for her.[nbsp_tc] Hank (the fine gentleman in the photo) was kind enough to take some time out of his day to give Thalia and her friends a tour of the food bank.[nbsp_tc] The girls all had a great time and got a new level of respect for the work of the volunteers in the community.[nbsp_tc]
Thanks Thalia and Hank for making a difference!
